Terry The Penguin

Terry the penguin, he was all right
He waddled around, he was black and was white
He sometimes got embarrassed in front of his penguiny mates
Cos he would fall over owing to his penguiny skates

But Terry was scared of the ocean blue
Because of Leopard Seals and the Killer Whales too
And whenever he reached the deep blue sea
He was scared he’d become someone’s tea

So Terry decided to do something about it
Something that may be considered quite drastic
He called Greenpeace and told him his worry
That he was concerned he’d become someone’s curry

Greenpeace were baffled as they like all creatures
But they came anyway to broaden Terry’s features
For this was all part of Terry’s big plan
Because with Greenpeace followed the boys from Japan

And to his delight they harpooned all the whales
Who had eaten his mates as soon as they’d sailed
They also frightened off the Leopard Seals too
Who were scared that they also may be harpooned

And the Japanese finished and they went
And Greenpeace pursued with their hippy intent
This meant the ocean for Terry was now free
For his mates to join him, having fun in the sea

This was just something I knocked together cos I wanted to cheer myself up a bit. I like it anyway - which is good, you know, what with it being for me and everything! :o)
